Hey... How have you been fairing....?? Aside from being happy Sydney thrashed us Friday night Ha Ha !!

Doing ok, not much changes here, having the grandson here for a few days tomorrow, that will test my patience, he's two now, where has the time gone.

Wow ! that's gone quick Andrew...... Knew there was something I had to ask.... Golf ! The Old Farts Golf trip ... I was hopeless .... aside from a handful of great approach shots... Problem is ... it's only once a year.... I have til next May to slightly improve... any tips? We drive up to Rich River Country Club at Echuca... Great weekend... Golf... Beer .. Wine & Scotch... I would like to improve for next year though....

Tips... let me think.. Work hard and be kind to your wife.
Slow back swing, keep your eye on the ball and follow through.. if that doesn't work get proper lessons from someone who knows what they're doing. Oh and don't try to hit the ball to hard.
That'll be $45 for the first tip. just enjoy yourself.

Spring is definitely here... hayfever has hit hard ! Decided to grab a weeks leave to do some stuff with Mandy and and get to work in the backyard.
The weather yesterday and today was sublime ! Carted a couple of loads of garden soil down to muminlaws place for vegy gardens... then grabbed a load for ours... Great having a ute and not rely on others or pay for delivery....
Today... assemble garden beds.... fill with soil... transplant some strawberry plants... make part of the garden dogproof... I am officially stuffed guys.... Have a shower then probably fall asleep in front of the TV with a beer in my hand Ha ha !! Weather turns a bit sour tomorrow and Friday.. might clear up for the weekend.... If so, do some maintenance around my mums place.... Gee ... I'll be looking forward to getting back to work...... Nah... not really.

Just about to get a drenching after a couple of hot days down here..... Hot weather and November really don't go together here... Really looking forward to the rain. Temps will simmer down a bit for a few days thank goodness. I assume it's getting rather nippy up the northern end of the planet ?? Dave ? Tracy?

Down here in the state of Victoria we are staring down the barrel of having the hottest Spring on record. Expecting 33degC today.. cooling down by 2 or 3 deg tomorrow and Saturday but still hot....
Normally we have 22 to 24 degree days right up to Christmas !!!
Already watering the garden.
They are say to expect a wet Summer..... hard to believe...

Hot weather is also bringing out the wildlife....
Just had the second copperhead snake caught this month... Snake Catchers will be busy this summer I reckon

This is crazy stuff !! After a hot , humid week and weekend.. Storms yesterday evening then cooled down overnight. Nice mild day today... but warming up tomorrow 29degC then bang! 34 hot degrees Wednesday... damn! That's when Mandy goes into Hospital for her procedure. I'll be taking her. I snatched some leave for the week. Just not used to the weather this time of year..... normally late Jan and Feb is when we have these conditions.

She called out "Thanks Dave" . It was a day stay.... removal of polyps in her sinus cavities ... which were pretty much blocked...
It's 7:30pm and currently being a dutiful wonderful hubbie ... lots of TLC... If you want I'll post a youtube vid (not hers)
Another crappy hot day.... I hate to sound like a whinger, but when you get days like these and you can't do anything outside... becomes frustrating! All today was good for ... was drying washing extra fast Ha Ha !

Friday... temp drops to mid 20's with a lot of rain... then heaps more rain and around the 20degC mark over the weekend.

Well.. about to head off to bed... Had a refreshing beer earlier... watched a couple of MASH episodes from season 4 ..
It's nearly midnight and if you look at that rain cloud radar its trailing down to the left of us... we will get a bit of it but not a lot... There is a lot more coming over from Adelaide... but again.... it might miss us... Hope not... we need it.
