No fishing lately Al, sold the boat, just wasn't using it enough to justify the expense, had some fun with it though and enjoyed the days we did use it. Golfs been hit and miss as well pardon the Pun.

I need to have a few swings of my clubs as well... Got a trip up to the border at the Rich River Country Club early May. It's with the other old retired cricketers from Leopold.... I haven't swung a club in more than 15 years.... oh boy...! I'll sooth the pain with cleansing ales and whiskeys ... Ha Ha !! I've always been a far weather golfer anyway.

Hi Guys Sunday was a great day warm 23 now it's back to 8 sunny but chilly the weather is coming from the north

Aren't you guys into Summer yet ?
We got through a very wet and windy Saturday night through to Monday morning.
It's calmed down a lot and looking at 20 to 21's degC for rest of week.

In the middle of a shocking storm ... lightning, wind and rain !! It'll stop soon before another cloud comes over..
Bad for me.. I'm on standby and on top the fact the Treatment Plant hates storms and might shutdown from a power surge... the stormwater gets into the sewer mains and hits us... bad!... And of course we have more than half of our screens out of action due to disrepair from expecting the NEW screen plant to be up and running by now ... but typically no... it's not! At present it's running as backup for when the large flow hits in another 6 or so hours... I'm just hoping it copes with it ... or it'll be a call out around 1 to 2 am... Oh Boy... Aah well.. fingers crossed.
This will be the only time you'll hear me say I don't want rain !! Ha Ha !!

Just been for my Bowls Pass to Hull left Beverley it was sunshine but cold by the time I reached Hull It was raining,sleet, and hail a great start to the outdoor bowling season bummer or words to that affect

Been a cold wet day here as well. Just finished my time on standby (on call) Had a shocking time. ... problems with the plant All Monday night/Tuesday morning due to so much rain Then the Call-Outs.....

About to head off to the dentist for a couple of fillings.... first visit in over 15 years...

Good luck , after 15 years he/she will find at least 10 other teeth that need attention. drilling for gold they will.

Dentist is a good bloke and very competent.... no pain.

Only 2 ! and easy ones at that....
All done in less than an hour.... had a numb side of my mouth for the morning then great... no pain. Back in Feb next year for check up..
Next is my eye test. Been 2 years.... specs aren't helping like they used to....
