Happy New Year Tracy, hope it's a good one.

And to you guys.
Bad start down in Victoria and some of New South Wales with all of the Bushfires. wiped out a few small towns.... some lives lost.... not good at all. No rain expected for the next week at least.
I think Canadian firefighters will be coming over to help which is a great help... not sure when.
No dramas where we are near Geelong. Further to the east of the state... Oh boy....

Seems like the whole Country is on fire.
Need rain desperately Al

The Premier has called a 'State of Disaster'
The proper hot weather hasn't hit yet..... Going to be a bad one I fear....

Back at work today..
A smokey haze all around ..... not good at all... I can only imagine how bad it is in the eastern part of the state.

A little bit of rain, nowhere near enough.

The fires in Australia are headlining our news in America...  Hope you guys get some needed rain and relief from that hell and hoping it does not affect you directly.

In for a few hot smokey ones

Had a hot one Thursday 38 deg C....
Then Yesterday (Friday) Bang! 44 deg C !!!
And what was AL Pal doing you might ask ??
Helping Daughters move house ... The only respite was the hire truck had A/C. Bloody hot... Sweat stinging as ran into my eyes... Absolutely stuffed we were....
Today.. still recovering. Cool change with showers has hit Geelong.
Expecting low 20's next week.... thank goodness....

Just a shout out to Andrew up north in New South Wales.
Flooding on South-East Queensland and now in N.S.W. I hope his town isn't in the path or copping any of bad weather. A lot of towns have been cut-off with water submerging houses or at least to the roofs where a lot of families were rescued from... Been dry down here in Victoria for the past few weeks... expecting a couple of showers but not too much....
