Some relief from the last couple days that were absolute stinkers mid 30's degC.... Boxing Day and 27th and I was at work with call-outs....
Mostly comfortable mid 20's for the week ahead when I'm on holidays.... good !! I can get some work done around the house.

Just had a mid-30's day yesterday..... hot crappy nights sleep last night. Expecting another hot and muggy 30DegC day with a lot of showers to make for a humid one.....

Cooler today with showers..... not much of a Saturday.... good for being indoors... Get in the garden tomorrow

Yesterday into the 40's ... today into the 40's again before a cool change later on .
Wasn't a good day... walking outside you had squint and blink a lot to stop your eyes drying .
A hot uncomfortable nights sleep. A couple of Peroni's (italian beer) helped.
Not even 9am and it's 30degC already... Oh boy'...

Cooler conditions down here for the weekend.
I think Andrew may cop it for the next few days

30degC Saturday, Yesterday.... 39degC and to top it off .... a power outage from 5pm to 9:30pm didn't help.
Didn't get below 30deg overnight.. Very tired and feeling like s___t at work today. Expecting 35deg before a cool change.
Won't stop me having a couple of beers tonight. Rest of the week should be low to mid 20's.

Been a very dry Summer this year... Hardly any rain in March so far... Been a few fires around the state....
Hopefully some good rain over the weekend will help the garden...

Yeeessss !!! Some good heavy soaking rain down here this morning, plus the odd bit bit of lightning and thunder.
Unfortunately for the local cricket grand finals here in Geelong, it may reek havoc over the weekend My club Leopold has 2 sides in finals.
Bad weather well help one side as they finished top of the ladder for their grade. if the game is washed out, they win. the other team whom I filled in for a couple of game this season... not so good... they finished second to the side they are expecting to play today...
Not to mention the F1 is in Melbourne this weekend..... It may be a wet race tomorrow.
That being said... We needed this !

Putrid weather today on my rostered day off.... aahh well... needed the rain.
A big blast coming straight up from the Antarctic.... cold and rain.... first snow in the mountains.....

Into Summer down here...
Getting a bit of everything ... A few stinking hot days (unexpected in December) then a deluge!!
The past few days... wow! A months worth of rain in a couple of days. That's down here in Victoria..

Nope thunder and lightning, little bit of rain, most times it blows out to sea before it hits us, very dry and hot at the moment,
storms promised, but will probably turn out to be nothing.

Down here we're expecting a very hot 33deg C xmas eve and a slightly more comfortable 29 degC xmas day.. Looks like we'll be eating outdoors Chrissy Day..

Got an absolute stinker today weather-wise.... close to mid 40's Celsius....breaking a 150 year record for December.
Luckily for one day only then back to the mild stuff tomorrow onwards...
Christmas Day will be a balmy 27decC perfect!
Weather isn't helping places up north in Sanshoe territory ... drought and bushfires....

Golf yes, fishing not so much. Wife broke her right ankle and sprained left ankle at the same time January this year only got over it a couple of months ago, so fishing has been put on the back burner.

Been using the not so hot weather to prune and clear one of the Apricot trees. It has just finished fruiting and we actually beat the birds to most of them... hopefully do the same to the other one....
S'posed to be a rotten hot day down here tomorrow in Victoria. 43 degC windy and gusty windy cool change during the arvo I think..
Total Fire Ban for most of the state. The Falls Music Festival held in the Otways near Lorne has been cancelled. The thousands have to leave the area asap. Not surprised at all.

Windy and Thundery.... But finally some respite .... Cool Change came trough 30 minutes ago.... down from mid 40's to high 20's... beautiful!! ....a few showers and storms are coming in at present... which can be just as bad for the bushfires around the state... especially the wind change.
That beer is going to taste bloody good shortly.... Might watch a bit of the Big Bash Cricket.... Yet to watch a full game... Not my style of Cricket ..... Give me a test match any day.
