Just had a beautiful winters day here in Geelong. It was the Queens birthday public holiday. Spent most of it outside in the garden.
Sunny and no wind at all. Top around 15 or 16 degC. Now got fog and down to 8deg. It'll be cold one tonight.

Rained all day yesterday and today, so cold and wet here.

Well...
Driving to work this morning, there's a 5km stretch of road that goes along the ocean (13th Beach Rd). Slightly overcast, look out and there are heaps of surfers on the glassy water on clean rolling waves. I thought to myself this looks like a 'summer scenario'. Wound the window down only to cop a freezing icy blast of wind !
Then I thought..."Look at those stupid idiots out in the cold water in the middle of winter".

Geelongs' weather:
Only 5 degC overnight and expecting a max of 15 degC. Slightly overcast and expecting rain tonight.

Take a camera and post some pics.

You how hard it is for me... plus, the monent has past.
Looking out there now, the wind's coming from the north. sea is choppy now.
look... from now on I'll take a camera with me... or take a couple with the phone camera. And yes i should've stopped and took a few.

Friday... and it's bleak day today.
cold 12degC. Rain overnight, flash floods etc. Cold wind whipping of the ocean and showers is all we can expect. Same for the weekend.
Almost Englandesque'(in summer) ... sorry guys.

I got bogged on my way to work this morning..



On my nature-strip just out the front of my house !!!!!!
Saw the missus in the window cacking herself laughing.
It was funny.

Eventually got out but left a nice mess.

We've had a horrid week of cold wet weather down here in the south-east of the country.
And I'm here at work spreading my cold germs and being generally miserable.

The weather as been terrible here as well been trying to put up a workshop for a mate but keep getting rained off

I've had to put a few jobs off in the backyard myself. Everything is waterlogged. May have to wait until the warmer weather arrives. The missus is still pestering me for this damn pergola !
It's been the wettest winter we've had for long time. Usually we get a lot of our rain early to mid Spring.

Frosty weekend with overnight temps around 2degC. Sunny days made it bearable.
Crappy weather today though. cold and rain.
Looks like it'll be cold and showers for the rest of the week...... yippee... (sarcastic !!)
