Well.... had a mild overnight low of 10degC and expecting 15degC Cloudy and the odd shower.... not much.

Ugly day today.
Cold, Windy, Showers throughout the day

Yesterday was damn hot ! 36 to 38 degC

Today.... 41!!!! An absolute stinker of a day. I'm on holidays and couldn't much today.

Put mesh over a couple of fruit trees in the morning but that was it.

8:30pm ... the wind has turned ,and coming from the south which normally is cool..... noooo, still rotten hot.

ANother few hours might see it cool down.

Time for a beer !!

A pleasant 28 here today some strong winds and a bit of smoke from some bushfires somewhere.

What about Tassie Al.. 41c same temp as you, the hottest they have ever had.

Poor buggers with their bushfires as well. We had a few fires around our state but most are under control now. Not sure on yours...

And it's only the beginning of the season... More hot ones to come !!

Stinking hot here today, 40c + stayed inside, only see AL on the forum, I'm sure he's ok probably laying on his back in traction with a ice cold tinny, or head down arse up at work.

He doesn't have the luxury like us, of retirement yet.

Had a couple last night Andrew.

Make your own pizza night. Friends came over as well. The frothies went down very nicely. Played a card game that went for hours...

Back to the weather and fires. Totally safe where we are guys. I was thinking of you today Andrew...weather and fire-wise.

We had a 30deg day today but it was a nice day. Only expecting 20deg tomorrow. Still on holidays... Got another 15 years before retirement and permanent holidays like you two old farts..(with respect of course.). Then who cares what the weather's like. ha ha !!

Dave... I really don't know what drives a person to start these fires..

It is going to be a bad fire season in Aus this summer. Previous summers have been cool and wet. There's a lot of dry fuel around. Lightning strikes have started a few.

If you were to look on the Aussie map, you'd see Geelong is on the coast right down south in Victoria. No forests where we are. There was a grass fire started by some mongrel between Geelong and Melbourne. Nothing serious.

No problem here Dave, I'm a bit like Al, not a lot of bush around me. In saying that, there's only one road in and one road out from where I live.

If that gets blocked by anything, then I'm stuck here. I'll just head for the beach 5min away.

Hey Al Christmas was good I hope the same for you and your gang? Yes temps and weather have been in my news all week and even though you are near the coast hope you and Andrew stay safe and as cool as possible. I think I read you were into the suds with some buddies over cards the other night. Sounds like fun and would have loved to have joined.

Hi Tracy some freaky things have been happening all over the world I agree things are not changing for the better it's floods and land slides happening here anything strange happening near you out the norm

Unseasonable warm for winter here today. We started the day @ 51F (10C) and it is our night here now and it is 26F (-3C) and sleeting/snowing. We are supposed to get some measurable snow I guess. Not much I don't think, but the weathermen here... not so good.
