Girls went to see Lucy and that Guardians movie.. Loved them both.
Interesting plot on Lucy 7/10

They were in raptures over the Guardians of the Galaxy movie 8-8.5/10 !!! They want to see it again. Good story , funny bits and great action.

I enjoyed Guardians of the Galaxy; saw that opening night with some friends. Taking the kids to see it this week as well as they have become Marvel movie fans and did not know initially it was a Marvel movie.

Picked up Divergent for my teen-age daughter while on vacation. Gave that a look. It was pretty good as well.

Watched a few movies this week. Very rare for me to watch more than one in a month anymore...

The Calling - Strange thriller, held my interest. Kinda liked it as it went on. 6½ out of 10.

Draft Day - A surprise. I really enjoyed this one. 7½ out of 10. Business side of sports and a good story.

Blended - Above average for an Adam Sandler movie. He has done some bad ones as of late, but I laughed out loud a few times. 6½ out of 10.

Godzilla - Ehhhh... Held my interest long enough to watch it all the way through, but, did not care for it. 4 out of 10. My wife walked out of the room and I should have followed.

Did watch How To Train Your Dragon 2 a couple of nights ago.
I'd give a 7/10 . Enjoyed it.

Watched an oldie... Space Cowboys last night ... even laughed out loud at a few scenes...

Transformers.. the latest one...
For me... didn't float my boat...

Too long ... didn't like the action.. not much story... I sped through a lot of it.

I watched The new Transformers... Pretty much agree, Al. Cool effects, but kinda boring. Also Edge of Tomorrow was not bad. Chef... Picked that one up, have yet to watch it. Someone else recommended that one to me as well. Hope to get it in over the long weekend.

Kids are 15 and 11... They like the Hunger Games stuff... Divergent stuff (all that girly novel stuff)... They also love Marvel movies (like their old man - We saw Guardians of the Galaxy three times in the theater and now own the blu-ray). My oldest is not too interested in the Hobbit or Harry Potter... My youngest is, but the Hobbit films are "date night" for me and my Mrs.

Twins Emily & Zoe like the Hunger games stuff as well and they are 21.
Steph (24) not so much. All love Guardians', Harry, Hobbit....
They love the sci fi's like StarGate and associated series as well.
I'll give you feedback after we see Hob 3.

Just came from Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb; kids wanted to see it, wife was not to keen but she is a trooper because it is Christmas and wanted to be out as a family. We came out saying we enjoyed it. 7/10. Fitting end and good to see the late Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney once more. I feel this is the end of that franchise and it was sent off well.
