Tracy.....
We're in sync' with our scores same for me 7/10
Yeah... It's a very good movie... glad I saw it on the big screen. Very good CGI effects ... but a lot of it.
I'm looking forward to the bluray release of Star Wars more than Black Panther... let me put it that way...

Re: New Movies
Been watching a few of late....
Domestics .. It's a 'B' grade Post-Apocalyptic movie... About a couple whose marriage is on the rocks. travel from their town to her parents town copping with rival gangs and weird scenarios. If that genre floats your boat.. go for it. Me... it was a wasted hour and a bit... Just my opinion 4/10 and I'm being generous.
2 nights ago ... sat down to Avengers : Infinity War . Would have been fantastic on the big screen.
With you again Tracy 9/10. Not what I was expecting... Then the Credits scene.. with Nick Fury... Leaves us hanging out for the next one.
Mandy and I have just watched The latest Jurassic movie... Not bad ... but felt like I'd seen it before. 6/10.. Not one I'll watch again.

Re: New Movies
Second instalment of the Fantastic Beasts...
Went to see it last week with Mandy, Zoe, Mandy s best friend and her daughter.
I don't know about anyone else, but we thoroughly enjoyed it.
I hadn't read any reviews and watched it without any bias
7.5 to 8 out of 10
Looking forward to the third movie.

Re: New Movies
CAPTAIN MARVEL !!!!
Saw it Tuesday night with Mandy and one of the girls. (Emily - was her 2nd viewing).
Loved it !!
Close to my fav Marvel movie. Good action. Good storyline. If you haven't yet ... go see it !
So close to a 9/10 score
Don't know if a male captain Marvel could've pulled it off...
answers a few questions from previous movies as well.
The ending leaves you salivating for Avengers: Endgame in a months time.....

Going to see it tomorrow evening. Not holding out much hope for it being any good. Would have went today, but my wife's grandmother passed (95 years young and a damn nice lady) and we will be going to the service.

Re: New Movies
The latest Star Wars exceeded my expectations, but all things considered, I give it a 6/10... But I imagine with Carrie Fishers passing, it was impossible to do what they planned. Overall the new trilogy fell flat for me. Not a fan of some of the new characters and what they did with the legacy characters. The original Star Wars trilogy will live on for me, while this new set will likely fall to afterthoughts.

Re: New Movies
Watched it last night...
Look... I'm giving it a 7/10... just...
I enjoyed it. but..... there was a nagging thought during the movie.... they could do more with certain scenes.
No doubt the younger viewers will prefer this recent series compared to 'ours' ...

Re: New Movies
If the movie was not titles "The Rise of Skywalker", I might have liked it better, but I saw nothing that fit that description in the story they put on film. Not even thinking about a return to see it for a second time. It will wait until video rental or on Disney+...
The Mandalorian series on Disney+ was fantastic by the way.
