Out of the eastern conference, I am looking for the Washington Capitals (coached by former Bruin Adam Oates) to do well... Of course I am pulling for the Blackhawks out of the west. They may end up facing Detroit in the first round... I think the Hawks will pull that one out, but I imagine it will take a heck of a toll on them. Heck, even Columbus plays the Hawks well. It's the playoffs, man!!! Anything can happen!!! Can't wait!!!

I watched the Sens/Bruins game with interest last night, Joel... Toronto/Boston first round. Given how Boston is playing, I think Toronto has a good chance of advancing on them. Good luck. Playoffs start tomorrow for Chicago... Have to catch highlights because I will be at the Bonamassa show. Go HAWKS!!!

Have fun at the show Tracy.

I'll be glued to the set watching Leafs/Bruins game. The Bruins have had a tough time as of late but they have so much Playoff experience. The leafs have virtually no playoff experience.

I hate to say it but I truly think the Bruins will be a team to watch this playoff season.

I think the leafs are too inexperienced to make a go of it even though it pains me to say it...

Shows how with it I am. My team plays tonight. Watched your team get there first win. L.A. lost in overtime also. Both were slow defensive games in my opinion.

The only hope the leafs have is to come out like gangbusters and play a very physical offensive game. However they can not forget defense. if they loose this first game I think that will be it...

So much for drawing first blood! We ended up getting hammered and Boston did not even bring their "A Game".

Watched Pittsburgh crush the Islanders last night... think that series will be four and their floored. Sorry about the Leafs... Would like to see them advance. They have a really good team this year and Boston should be a team they can take.

I think the Leafs have a very skilled team this year, but very wet behind the collars. The Leafs do not have the experience to help them with their consistency problems they have had all year. Yes they can score this year but when you let 3-5 goals in almost every game you have a problem! And their offence was non existent again last night.

It was there physical bang'em up style of play which gave them the success they had in the regular season. That seems to have fallen by the wayside... Crying or Very sad

Hawks up 2 games to none in their series! Good luck to the Leafs tonight in Boston. Watched Sid the kid return, play well, and fall last night to the Isles. Good game. Odds are Pittsburgh will win it in six, though.

Yahoo, I get to stay home and watch the game tonight!!!
We go out once a month to play cards with 4 other couples which is always a lot of fun. But a few could not make it this week so I get to stay home and watch the game!

Looks like I will not be so lucky next Saturday though...

Thanks. May the Leafs stick it to the Boston boys tonight. I am pulling for Detroit tonight to give some injured hawks a few extra days rest. Else they will have San Jose on Sunday I suspect.

Leafs win... Now, take care of business at home on Sunday and force a game 7, where anything can happen. It is good to see those blue sweaters again on TV.

Tracy, the Hockey God's are looking down over your Hawks and gave them a couple extra days of rest.

Somehow the leafs pulled off a win against Boston so game 6 goes Sunday night!

I hope to be watching, Joel... Damn cable blacked out the game. Got the Caps/Rangers game and Blues/Kings... Both good ones, but even as a Hawks fan, I enjoy getting to watch the Leafs.

Darn good game tonight between the Islanders and Penguins. The Islanders did not disappoint, but fell short in OT. They are going to be a really good team in the coming years.

Congrats to the Leafs, Joel. Forcing a game 7 tomorrow night with momentum on your side. Anything can happen! Red Wings are up after 1 period tonight, but I am tanked and doubt I can stay up to see who the Hawks will be facing in the next round.

Tracy, I am shocked and very excited at the same time. When firing on all cylinders the Leafs are a team that can play with the best of them. But their inexperience which I believe has led to their inconsistency has been tough to watch this season. And I still feel they have the wrong man as Captain...

Tonight's game 7 will be a brutally fast and very physical game I think. Toronto will have a tough time of it for sure. Boston had a tough time putting up an offence last night as Toronto played such a tough checking game. But when Toronto plays physical they do well offensively and defensively. Boston's Defense is not easy to beat!

I'm going to call it, on a days rest, going into Boston with momentum, Toronto wins tonight. They looked great last night. Really liked the way they played.

Oh man... Game 7, overtime and fell short. Sorry Joel. But they played like hell. A couple more puzzle pieces next year and you are in business.

No problems Tracy!
I am not surprised they they blew a 3 goal lead with 12 minutes to go... They did this all season. They came on the ice the third period and I don't think they threw one body check the whole period.
The whole team should be completely embarrased and disgusted with the way they played the third period.

I feel awful for Randy Carlisle, the coach!!! He did not deserve that in the least! He has been the only consistantly good thing about the Leafs in 45 years!

Let's go Hawks!!! Smile

The heavily favored Hawks are now down 3 games to 1 and on the brink of elimination. They cannot get a power play goal or heck, shot! Getting blanked by the Dead Things tonight. I doubt I will watch Saturday as I expect they will be sent packing. Out coached, out played. Horrible effort. They played the regular season like it was playoff hockey and not, when it matters, they are out of sync. Frustrated with their lack of effort.

Things do not look good Tracy. My nephew is a Detroit fan and excited how well they are doing. They are a lot like the Leafs due to their relative inexperience and are definitely due for a loss or slide in my opinion...

I will be out all night as you know and will not be able to watch any of the game myself. Let's go Hawk's!!! I still think their experience will get them through this series!
