Burner drivers
Guys,
Got a 2nd hand but hardly used burner (free). It's a HP. It will go in the old PC as it has the old ribbon cable connection. It powers up but the pc doesn't recognise it.... then I thought.... drivers!
The machine doesn't connect to the net. Is it easy enough to grab from ...say... this machine from HP, copy over to the PC and get it going ? The old bugger uses XP ...
whether that will be an issue, I don't know.
Am I wasting my time ?
The burner currently in it still works but has had a hard life, And I don't use it that often, but it's good as a back-up.
Your thoughts folks ?
