Just nip down to the island of Islay ..... They make beautiful Smokey Peaty scotches at a number of distilleries there. Laphroaig is my fav. I also own a square foot of ground there. Got it with my first purchase.

Hope the weather has improved.

Weather ok here, bit colder than what I'm used to, beautiful country side very green, I have been here a few times before, the last time was 20 years ago.
Went to Chatsworth house today, very impressive.

Kicked me out via traitors gate, didn't seem to want me, picked up a few little trinkets while I was there... Wink

Went on the Settle to carlisle railway line ( Google that one ) yesterday through the Yorkshire Dales,very nice, but rainy cold and windy, and today is bright sunshine on a rest day go figure!!!!
Wednesday went to Dewsbury markets, what a culture shock, a lot of mobile letter boxes.
Before that went to Chatsworth house and Wentworth Woodhouse.
Chatsworth house was built before Australia was discovered by Captain Cook..lol
