Have you seen 'Hell On Wheels' yet ?

It's a TV series western set at the time they were laying the train tracks

The 2nd season is about to be released on dvd. I'm watching the 1st at present. Loving it.

The other is Justified with Timothy Olyphant. Thoroughly enjoying...

Red 2 is coming out later this year. Thought it was only a matter of time. Might be worthy..... I liked the first one.

Andrew, If you get even one episode of either of those shows... Hell On wheels (season 1) is on TV at present (freeview) not sure on the channel or night. or download an episode.

Hi AL watched the first episode of HELL ON WHEELS series 1 very good like it. watch out for Ripper Street it's on the TV here in the uk at the moment very good story lines don't know if it's hit your tv screens

Watched Pitch Perfect this past weekend with the family @ home. Was expecting a chick flick. Found it to be pretty funny and enjoyed it.

There's another 'period' series called 'Copper' set back 1860's in the US.

It's about a cop in New York in the 'Five Points' neighborhood. My gauge is the missus. If she doesn't like she says straight away. This is recommended viewing

Haven't seen it, but reminds me of the movie..Gangs of New York, very violent but a great movie.

Saw that one at the flicks Andrew. Loved it. So yeah I'll be watching the series.

Watched the last half of 'Trouble With The Curve' last night.

Hard to categorize this one...A bit light... I enjoyed it, I'll watch it again. If you like a bit of baseball, some drama, some humour, Clint Eastwood etc.. I give it 6...ish out of 10

Hi AL it just depends on how many seeders there are but usually between 5 mins to 30 mins and my broadband speed is poor average 8mb if I'm lucky ISP has the monopoly here and inflated price rates

I'm asking a few questions here Dave because I've never downloaded. Some of the movies and TV series I have were given to me. Or I'll convert and put on the HDD... Or simply buy them when cheap.

Are these free sites or do you pay a fee ?

Watched Pitch Perfect and This Is 40 on the weekend...

Pitch Perfect... Funny Bits and enjoyable but I could see how it would end early on.

This Is 40.... Tracy... correct ! Not a family movie. Very funny... Don't know if I'd watch again though.

Watched Lincoln over the weekend.

Long movie... Very well done. Day-Lewis a shoe-in for the oscar.

But... I honestly can't see myself watching it again. Les Mis on the other hand...

I'll try Argo shortly.

Watched "Looper" and "Flight" this past weekend... ehhh on both.

I hoped for a better ending for Looper. I'll pass on Flight.
