Nearly finished what the missus started.

the daughter dropped the ipod 4th gen and broke the glass. The wife bought a repair kit rather than shell out $90to have someone else do it. She got the broken piece off and removed all the small broken glass and glue. that's where she left it. It got too hard for her. A few weeks later... last friday, I noticed it in a tupperware container, still in bits. Bugger it I thought to myself, I'll have a crack at this. Watched Youtube and other instructions.

And did it ! It came up with the white screen of death and I was able to re boot and charge the battery. I'm down to the last hurdle... atttaching it to the body. Problem is... what do I use ? Double sided tape ?,Glue ? both ? What type of glue?

Any ideas ?

Have not run accross that before, Al. I imagine if you keep googling and YouTube'ing you will find something. I think there is a site called iFixit that might get you going.

Seen some Youtubes... I might use a bit of both.
