We mustn't forget the other countries participating these games,
China on top of the table..was there any doubt, and the USA is doing extremely well in the pool.
USA is second, Team GB is curently 11th on the medal table and we're 15th, lots of room for improvement for us.

Just watched the Lithuania team come up a little short to the American "Pro Team" in basketball. Lithuania played an outstanding game and at a couple points in the forth quarter, they had the lead.

I am literally shocked...Sports mad and sports good Australia with only ONE gold medal. I can hardly believe it and as I like Australia and Australians I get no pleasure from it. My youngest daughter and Grandchildren are Australians.

Think we're going through a transitional period, a changing of the gaurd you might say, but that's no excuse, as long as they do the best they can on the day. they have done ok in my book.
Still a bit dissapointing.

A few have done P.B.'s . Others have simply done better.
