I'll be off to my cricket match shortly.... Not that I'll be doing much....
Last Saturday we got the opposition out for 158, then with 15 or so overs to bat. About 5 or so overs in I got a pearler from their opening bowler who always has the 'wood' on me. Got an inside edge on to the stumps... Damn ! gone for a hard worked but measly 2 runs. I'll do a bit of umpiring and scoring.... That'll be my afternoon. Oh and a few beers afterwards with their captain. Brother of my sisters ex. Always got on well with him.

We won and won well. Umpired almost all day....better than sitting on my bum being bored. Problem was ... we kept on batting batting after we passed their score ... It's within the rules but wasn't really worth it. got boring... but it was our captains wishes.

If the captain says bat you bat.. 
We don't want any dissention in the ranks.
