Unfortunately you need a host (for the database required).
This (AFAIK) incurs cost.
Plus might still have problems with linking to forum.

On a plus, I believe those who "thank/like" only to be seen doing so are deterred.
Many users probably only thank members who thanked them.

So it could be argued a more accurate picture is presented.

Of course some members will think why bother at all.... Wink
