INCREDIBLE PREDATOR
There are 3 sequences in this one video:
1st sequence he catches half a dozen fish in one strike.
2nd sequence he plunges talons into deep water right to the bottom to
grab his prey.
3rd sequence he captures a big old fat fish that looks as if it weighs
more than he does!
This is incredible to watch (best viewed in full screen mode)...enjoy!

Brilliant Andrew.
I am thinking that it has to be an Osprey or some other type of fish eagle. My wife says it is a Wedgetail, she has a vivid recollection of spotting a Wedgetail sat in a tree as we were driving into Leongatha from our daughters house which is about 10 miles away from the town. I did insist that no way was it a Wedgetail so I am only hoping that it wasn't.

I told a friend of mine about the video and he mentioned that it was probably an Osprey.
Besides, the title of the video is "Osprey, the Ultimate Fisher". Fitting that it is the "Ultimate".

Sorry Larry, it must be the dementia coming back. I never noticed the title of the video. Actually I was probably too busy trying to score points over my wife as she was so certain it was a wedge-tailed Eagle, LOLlario48 wrote:I told a friend of mine about the video and he mentioned that it was probably an Osprey.

Few people or animals make me shudder but the two things that do are snakes and crocodiles. I actually saw one in my garden a while ago (NO NOT A CROCODILE). I could not decide whether it was an Adder or a Grass snake. Either way I still gave it a wide birth.
