I don't think he is near any trouble spots. He might even be out of town for a few day.. who knows...
It's stinkin' hot up there while we're cool with rain on the way down here in Victoria.
That's good ole Aussie weather for you. They can expect some cooler weather late Wednesday.

All is well, not in any danger from any bushfires, need some rain here overcast today, might get a bit of drizzle.

Need massive amounts to sort out the fires, all those blokes/ladies in orange fighting the fires with RFS on the back are all Volunteers, and don't get paid. So hats off to them they do a great job.. 

In have been away for a couple of days, went to Tamworth, haven't been there for a long time, had a nice break.

Although I didn't post, I was keeping tabs on this thread. I figured you were okay since I've seen you logged in over at 1Click. I was gonna post with that info, however, since I saw that satrat had emailed you, I figured you would chime in soon. Glad to hear you're okay.

Looks like you'd better get ready for another hot one tomorrow. Pity you can't send some of it over Dave.
We're in opposite land down here guys.
It's been raining all day... non stop. And I've just crawled out from a blanket on the couch to check on ya.
Got a crappy sore throat at present. A couple of Wild Turkey honey's will help that shortly. It'll be similar tomorrow as well for Geelong Cup Day holiday. Think I'll veg in front of the ídiot box'.
Bit after 9pm . Back to my couch.

Bit crook myself Al, sore throat, aches and pains and cold shivers.    
Went to the quack and he gave me some double strength Antibiotics.

As far as the fires go, there's a lot of bush to burn around me but not near me, so not in any danger.

I was also following this and hoping for the best. My daughter and hubby live in the town of Leongatha Victoria and a few years ago she lived out in the country about 15 miles from Leongatha and while we were there we had to leave their house as the fires approached it was a very scary time. So glad that you are OK mate, a sore throat will heal much quicker than a burnt arse. LOL

This seems to be the way of things with these viruses. The little buggers get a hold on you and they just won't let go until they are ready and of course antibiotics do not get rid of viruses so you just have to let your bodies defenses fight them.
Best of luck Al you are a fit bloke so there is enough gas in the tank to fight it off.
