Hey, it's been a long time since I've heard of 'Fosters'. My usuals are Carlton Draught, Crown Lager or Carlton Dry. Not a massive beer man though. Scotch is my baby... (from Islay)

Who in their right mind would pay that much???
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Spiced,
rich nose with notes of baked apple and cinnamon. Hints of beeswax, potpourri
and iodine. A little furniture polish, dried apricot, sticking plasters and
parsley.
Palate:
Herbal and very complex palate with fiery peat smoke and citrus zest. Bitter
lime juicy, caramel, toasted teacakes and cocoa powder. Hints of curry spice
and cardamom.
Finish: Very
long finish with hints of burnt sugar, black pepper and mixed spices.
Overall:
Absolutely astonishing.

Err....
Sort of puts my $100 bottles to shame...
To pay millions just for a decanter ? Being that old... it could taste of old socks for all we know ha ha !!!
There's a sucker born every minute !!
And somehow I can't see myself put an entire years salary on the counter for ONE shot of scotch.
We can only dream...
