XP on laptop
Guys,
Been given a early model laptop from one of the guys here at work (freebie). His daughter used it for a very short time and cannot remember her password. I can explore as a 'guest' but can't make any changes etc.
I've been told to run windows through it. I have a copy of XP Pro (same as what's on it). The laptop also has the product key underneath as well. What do I do after inserting disc. I don't care what happens as it'll only be a back-up laptop..... still has the floppy disc drive on it. That's how old it is. Does have an SD card slot... which will be good when loading photos etc.
What's the process guys ?
thanks
AL
