A sobering situation
I don't know if it made the news over in the states boys...
John McCarthy (AFL Footballer) died in accidently in Las Vegas. (end of season trip)
Must have been drunk and went to the roof of one of the hotels and tried to jump
onto a palm tree, misjudged and fell over 9 metres killing instantly... from what I've heard anyway. He played at 2 clubs Collingwood then Port Adelaide. His brother played with Geelong for a short time. Feel for his family.
