Didn't work out well for the Cats.
For starters, the weather played into Richmonds hands... rain for the entire evening made for slippery conditions suiting their style of game. An early injury blunted our main player Gary Abletts effectiveness. As well as poor kicking for goal during the game by others...
Richmond kicked away half way through the last quarter.
Aah well.... on to next year....
We lose Gary Ablett.. now retired. Possibly another couple …. An interesting couple of seasons ahead for Geelong.... quite a few players are over 30 years old... Hopefully we can rebuild well enough ….
