Glad to see that my old friend Andrew is still contributing a sharp wit if I ever saw one. To you and Alby, I will be visiting your great country again later this year but as my daughter lives an hours drive from Melbourne it will not be until nearer Christmas. She tells me that the weather is absolutely freezing at the moment their fire is being kept going 24/7. I prefer to swap one summer here for another summer down under.

Since I posted the above my beloved daughter has relocated to Queensland so my wife and I will be seeing something of the North of Australia in future. As I am sat in my man cave at the moment I do not have the name of the place she will be living with me (At this very moment she is driving up there with our granddaughter) All I know at the moment is that the place she will be moving to is further to the north of Bribane than Brisbane is north of Sydney. We have been to Brisbane twice before and really liked it there but have never been north of Bribane so it will be an adventure.

That's a long drive Les, going on your vague description.. lol! my guess would be Mackay, or Townsville.

Just spotted this Les.... It's been a cold one alright. Can't recall having to wear as many layers of clothing to work as I have this year...

It does seem a long way from Leogatha in Victoria but Jubilee Pocket may be even a little nearer to England.
