I tried and Loved/hated the Fujifilm X-Pro2 and after three dud cameras, I sent it back for good... at least for now, but the style of camera is what I really want.  So, I acquired a cheap Fujifilm X-Pro1 camera and am enjoying the heck out of it.  Here's a pic of the new pup. She's a little over a year and a half old now and a joy to have in the family:

I shot a pre-Prom party (high school dance) this past weekend and left the Canon gear at home.  It was all a controlled shoot.  I packed speedlights, a light stand, and a large parabolic umbrella and brought only my Fujifilm gear.  The results were fantastic.

The photos are up on my Facebook site:  Sith's Photo Farceybook page

My eldest daughter (who will be a senior in high school this coming fall) is hard to photograph... she hides when I take out the camera.  I was fortunate enough to sneak behind her and snag this shot... of course mom missed my queues to back out of the frame... she thought I was shooing a fly or something... Taken with the old classic Fujifilm X-Pro1:

Good one mate.
My missus hates her photo taken.... come to think of it... I prefer to be behind rather than in front of the lens. Take em' while you can Tracy.

More fun with old stuff... Picked up a vintage Russian Helios 44-2 lens for about $40 U.S. Fun little manual lens.
