Pre-ordered her CD, but it will be a Xmas gift for the girls... Will be a while before I hear the whole thing.

I pre-ordered her CD from Amazon for $9.99 and it came with "AutoRip". Right after midnight the MP3 version (with lyrics) was automatically downloaded to my Amazon Music Library.

I got it that way too Larry... Listened to it today while the kids were at school. Forgot they did that but they reminded me!

Caught a song by this band on a compilation CD.... Buffalo (Aussie band - Heavy Rock)
Loving the pure heavy rock
It's from the album 'Volcanic Rock - from the early 70's. Have a close look a the album cover Heh heh...
The lead singer Dave Tice played again a couple of years ago... sounds just as good.
Have a look at some of the youtube clips Great stuff... goes fantastic in the car where you can turn the volume right up ! I converted the full album clip to mp3 and have it blaring in my car

Pity those two don't get along.
Wonder if they ever did...
Made good music but.

Hey Alby what does that mean? The songs were so "pitiful" that they were good.

Re: What music are you listening to?
Been digging the SiriusXM radio, Al & Larry. Have it in the new minivan when busing the kids around and rediscovering some cool old tunes and some new ones. So many choices, some good, some bad.
Finally got around to putting in the Blu Ray of JB @ Radio City Music Hall... Really enjoyed it and all the camera angles.
Kids surprised with their xmas wish list today too... they want a record player and some vinyl. Hot damn. Hoping I still got some old stuff that was not damaged by the floods. I know I have a few Beatles albums still on LP.
...and on that note

Sounds like your kids might be "infected" with a little "Daddy Influence". Cool!

Re: What music are you listening to?
Yeah...
My girls tolerate my pratles about vinyl, tapes etc. but they're intrenched in the digital age. The missus bought a turntable at a garage sale a couple of months ago. this one converts to digital. It even has an ipod dock to convert to mp4 and load directly onto the ipod.
I recently bought a tape deck for less than $10. All I got from the girls was... Oh Dad, not more junk !!!
Now I have a full system. Already had the turntable from over 10 years ago... at least. Tuner, Amplifier and now a working tape deck. Machines are split between Technics and JVC . I'll use the speakers from an abandoned system in the garage.
Love the sound quality.

Re: What music are you listening to?
I don't know about you guys, but I decked out my first car... back in the early 80's. A Pioneer system to drool over.
Sold it years later when no longer required. One of the guys from work in a different dept. sold me his old ute.
One of his other cars is and 80's model Datsun. And to my surprise... He had the same set up as that Pioneer system!!
I took a few pics to compare to mine.
Back then I shelled out nearly $1000. Broke my heart when I sold it. Now I would pay almost the same price to get it second hand .... crazy stuff.
You guys go through that phase?
