Well the Cats did it the hard way again. We always have hard games against the North Melbourne Kangaroos. They got out to a 41 point lead during the 2nd qtr. We got a couple back just before half time. Got a few more goals during the 3rd qtr to get close enough to challenge.

Last qtr was a real hard scrap. we get close, they get away again. Poor kicking for goal nearly cost us.... 3goals 8behinds to their 2goals 1behind in that quarter. It shows we had more of the play and more shots at goal. It boilled down to a free kick and a 50 MT penalty to Jimmy Bartel to pass their score again with less than 30 seconds to play. We won by only 4 points 112 to 108.

It then poured rain as were off to catch the train back to Geelong.... wet but happy.
