I'm surprised to see Boston out of it now.

Cup Finals 2012 - Philly / Nashville... To soon for me to call a winner, but I really like what I see out of a Prongerless Philly. Jagr = WIN

Conrats to Alan's Rangers tonight. NJ pulls it off in two OT's... What a game.

I watched it...it was a great game. Nashville has me worried though. It seems my wings took all they had.

If they can't win the next two in Nashville it is over for them and Phoenix is playing like they have something to prove.

Roll on, cup finals start tomorrow night! Pulling for the 8th seeded LA Kings, though it is tough to root against Marty Brodeur. 40 year old keeper playing like he is 23! Can't wait!

They deserved the win for sure!

Training camp in 3 months and I bet the Leafs will be in first place till December when their annual slide to not making the playoffs begins!

Hangs head in shame... help2 I'm a Leaf fan.

They were eliminated in round 1 against Phoenix... Lost in 6 if I recall. Seems like ages ago.

They could use a new keeper... plenty of talent, power play/special teams was abysmal and it showed in the playoffs. Had some injuries... but the did make some assistant coaching changes... Have to see how it pans out. Free agency approaching. See what kind of moves they make in the off season. I fully expect them to trade Patrick Kane. Just a hunch. Have to see how things play out.

Not knowing enough about the game Tracy..
I know in our Aussie rules, the Cats traded hard early on to get Brad Ottens (ruckman who performed fantastic in all of finals from 2007 to last years flag). We moved on a few good players to get him. It was hard to see those players go but worth it. A great player and a nice bloke. We miss him badly (retired).
How old is Patrick and who should they try for ?

Kane is very young... 23/24 years old. Not sure, but a kid with great talent already who has not peaked yet. Soon. He did score a game winner in overtime to clinch the cup for Chicago in 2010. He gets in off ice trouble and the teams front office is upset with him as they feel with what he gets paid he should do a better job of representing the team. I agree with that. He's got some growing up to do. And as I mentioned, he scored the game winner in a cup clinching game. How do you top that moment? While I would like to see him grow up and stay on the team, it does make sense to move him. Try to get a keeper and some draft picks. That would make sense. Luongo is someone the Canucks may move, but I don't want him in Chicago. Toronto may succeed with him in net though.

Steve Johnson for the Cats had some off field indescressions early in 2007 I think. The leader group of players (not the club) suspended him from the club between 6 to 10 weeks. That hurt him more than anything. He came back to be best on ground in the 07 final win and has been among our best since. Maybe that's what this bloke needs... I don't know how discipline is metered out over there...

Speaking of discipline, I believe that 2 members of the Toronto Football Club were arrested in texas last night for a bar brawl...

Oh did I forget to mention the TFC is in last place.
