I love to see our athletes winning gold medals at the Olympics but I cringe when our National anthem is played it seems so slow and dreary and while nearly all other countries' anthems are about that country, ours is all about the monarch. I don't have anything against the royal family they have absolutely no influence on my life whatsoever and if the majority in this country want a Royal Family, that is fine by me I am a big believer in democracy. Just one thing I do not like is the true definition of all UK people and that is "We are subjects of her Majesty the Queen". All other people in this world (as far as I am aware) are classed as citizens of France, Germany, Holland etc.
